One way we choose to practice that posture is by sharing a story — not about us, but about a mother's love, a son's sacrifice, and a promise kept.
The Story Behind Our Partnership with America's Mighty Warriors
Glory Cellars wasn't built to sell wine. It was built to honor a promise.
When we partnered with Debbie Lee — Gold Star Mom and founder of America's Mighty Warriors — everything came into focus. Debbie lost her son, Navy SEAL Marc A. Lee, on August 2, 2006. Marc gave his life protecting his teammates during the Battle of Ramadi, a sacrifice his mother has carried with grace and purpose ever since.
His last letter home asked his family to "pass on the kindness, the love, the precious gift of human life."
In the years that followed, Debbie founded America's Mighty Warriors — a way to carry Marc's heart forward. The organization is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports troops, veterans, and Gold Star families through programs designed to bring healing, hope, and dignity to those who have sacrificed so much.
